okay so, once again, locus spoke DIRECTLY to washington in this episode. about following orders. its gonna be something about “following orders” that wakes wash up. 100%.
and when bc im thinking this is what theyre gonna do carolina wash and church split off from the reds and blues, wash is gonna severely injure carolina to the point where he thinks she’s dead. (then church is gonna revive her and keep her alive and safe for the time being well hopefully at least I JUST DONT WANT ANYONE TO DIE OKAY???)
then when the reds and blues have their situation semi-figured out and/or wash tells them they need to meet up for something, or to go to the capital, or tell them something to prevent them from leaving after he and carolina “get the radio jammer”. then he’s gonna attack them, too.
wash is control’s “safe”. wash is control’s way of ensuring that the reds and blues dont live to tell the tale of chorus to anyone, anywhere.
even though control is technically offering them an “out”, it’s only because control has reservations on wash taking care of the reds and blues.
im thinking control’s flaw was in disregarding the existence of church who’s healing units will keep carolina safe for the time being, and control will wrongly assume wash has killed carolina and is going for the reds and blues when in reality carolina will be hanging on by a thread due to church’s help. just some more thoughts upon another rewatch.
